A leader and pioneer in deep tech investment in France, SUPERNOVA Invest supports technology start-ups from inception to maturity.

Supernova Invest is the managing entity of Aselta’s long term financing partner “CEA Investissement”, pioneer and leader in deep tech investment in France, from business inception to maturity.
Supernova Invest’s founding team has more than 20 years’ experience in innovation capital. It emerged from the alliance in 2017 between the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives, CEA) and Amundi (Crédit Agricole Group).
Recognized by Reuters in 2017 as the most innovative government research institution in Europe, the CEA passed on its DNA of disruptive technology-based innovation to Supernova Invest. The Supernova Invest team combines the best of technology and financing. What sets it apart is its ability to understand both the underlying technologies and the most complex deep tech business models.
With a total of about 100 investments and more than 70 portfolio companies, Supernova Invest benefits from a unique track record in deep tech, as reflected in its 30 or so successful trade exits and six IPOs.
Supernova Invest has focused its efforts on four major areas of expertise : Industry 4.0, healthcare, energy & environment, and digital technologies, supporting the technology leaders of the future
